Semarang (24/03/2025) – Under the shimmering light of the holy month of Ramadhan, the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University is conducting Roaming Tarawih with the Shohibul Bait of the Faculty of Science & Mathematics of Diponegoro University and the postgraduate school of Diponegoro University on 21st March 2025. This event is meant to strengthen the ukhuwah islamiyah bond and introduce the praying culture among faculties and also strengthen the spirit of worshipping during ramadhan.
This event was attended by Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si, as a Diponegoro University Rector; the Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. H Ahmad Rafiq, M.A., as a professor of UIN Semarang who serves as the ustadz and preacher; Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D., as the Dean of the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University; and Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., as the Dean of FSM UNDIP, and all the Deans of the Faculties of Diponegoro University.
The event began with all prayers performing Tarawih and Witir prayers together. Then, it followed with a warm welcoming speech from Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., the Dean of Faculty of Science and Mathematics of Diponegoro University. It concluded with a heartfelt sermon by Prof. Dr. H Ahmad Rafiq, M.A., who delivered a sermon on the struggle of Muslims in spreading Islam through warfare, reminding us of the strength of faith and brotherhood.
