Undip, Semarang (5/12/2025) — The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University recently conducted Friday Research Day titled “Discussion About Reaching Q1/Q2 Journal Publication.” This event was held at the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University Smartclass Room, 6th floor, on Friday, 5th December, 2025.

On this occasion, SPs Undip invited Prof. Ir. Lukito Edi Nugroho, M.Sc., Ph.D., to share his experience and knowledge about working on publication papers. He emphasizes that working on a good paper is not merely about seeking novelty, but instead it’s about how we communicate with our promoter and co-promoter. The key to achieving a reputable publisher is that students must embrace consistency, choosing methodology, and the ability to convey his/her arguments properly. Prof. Lukito also shares his experience on facing his personal constraints during his time as a doctoral student.

The next session is an interactive discussion session. In these circumstances, students are allowed to ask Prof. Lukito about the technical constraints that students have been facing, and they want to know about the tips and tricks to achieve reputed international publishers. Friday Research Day is truly a weekly event of SPs Undip to push students to publish qualified scientific publications. (Humas SPs – DAP)
