The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University is once again holding its regular Friday Research Day event, this time with the theme “Transforming Public Opinion Data into Strategic Decisions Thru Smart Analytics.” This regular event will be held hybridly at the TTB-A Building, Smartclass Room on the 3rd floor, on November 7, 2025.

Dr. Ahmad Abdul Chamid, S.Kom., M.Kom., a postdoctoral student at the Postgraduate School, was invited as a speaker for this session. On this occasion, he explained how public opinion data can be processed scientifically through analytical approaches and artificial intelligence (AI) to support policy decision-making in the public sphere.

The next session continued with an interactive discussion where both participants and speakers discussed various topics related to public opinion mapping on social media, the application of machine learning in sentiment analysis, and the challenges in collecting and interpreting public data.
