Undip, Semarang (06/03/2026) — The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University has conducted a Friday Research Day event titled “The Roadmap to Q1: Successful Journal Publication with Topic AI and Metaheuristic Applications.” The event itself took place at the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University TTB-A Building 3rd floor Smartclass Room on Friday, the 6th, 2026.

Moh Nur Sholeh, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., from the Department of Civil and Planning, Vocational School, Diponegoro University, appeared as a speaker for this remarkable event on conveying how to select a research topic that has to be relevant to the existing technology advancement. He said that we have to be clever on inventing a research title so that a world-class editor and reviewer are eager to read our works. In this case, the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and metaheuristics is a strong combination in doing so.

In the discussion session, all participants are actively giving questions to the speakers in terms of consultation towards their research draft by utilizing machine learning and optimization algorithms in order to make their works complete. (SPs Public relations – DAP)
