Undip, Semarang (22/12/2025) — The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University once again held the Dissertation Exam. On this occasion, a Doctor of Environmental Sciences student has been presenting his research titled “Developing the Strategy of Eco-Friendly Marketing to Target Green Consumers on the Digital Market. The exam was held at The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University TTB-B Building, 2nd Floor, on 22 December 2025.
In his research, Guruh attempts to highlight the society’s consciousness towards environmental issues and its effect on consumer behavior in the era of digitalization. This research is not merely about strategic marketing towards business opportunities, but rather about prioritizing its sustainable values and environmental obligations.
By using the information systems and digital marketing analysis approach, Guruh reveals how such a company could construct a strategic eco-friendly marketing plan effectively to reach out to green consumers. This kind of consumer was known to have a high level of awareness towards the environment from the product or the service that they have consumed.
In his presentation, Guruh is attempting to explain how the digital market gives a great opportunity to educate the consumer about eco-friendly values. A proper communication strategy, transparent information, and the utilization of digital technology are the keys to building trust and loyalty.
This research is expected to serve as an academic and practical reference for industry players, particularly in designing sustainable marketing strategies that align with the development of digital technology and the demands of modern consumers. Furthermore, the results of this dissertation also contribute to the development of science in the fields of information systems, digital marketing, and sustainability.
The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University congratulates Guruh Taufan Hariyadi on the successful completion of his dissertation.
