Undip, Semarang (27/8/2025) — The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University has recently held a Studium Generale with the Vice Minister of Public Works, Ir. Diana Kusumastuti, M.T., titled Challenges of Infrastructure Development and Environmental Sustainability. This event was conducted at The Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University TTB-A building, 1st floor, on Tuesday, 26th August 2025. This event was attended by the dean, vice dean, lecturers, and students of SPs Undip.
Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D., as Dean of the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University, gave an opening speech and told students that building critical thinking is a must, especially in understanding the way Indonesian infrastructure runs. It is not only about aspects of the physical and economy itself but also about the SDGs’ and also prosperity for society.
The next session is Ir. Diana Kusumastuti, M.T., to convey her presentation. Indonesian infrastructure is moving towards the sustainability of the economy and the prosperity of society and the economy. She highlights the importance of using innovation of green technology, energy efficiency, and the waste materials that can be utilized. Moreover, the Indonesia Infrastructure Project cannot be done without the collaboration between every human resources field. “We have to require the teamwork of all human resources; the younger generation must give a new groundbreaking,” she said.
