Semarang, UNDIP 2025 – The postgraduate school of Diponegoro University is conducting a workshop titled “Academic Writing and Publications.” This workshop event features a lecturer from Edith Cowan University Professor Ferry Jie, PhD, FCILT, FCES, at the TTB.A Building, 6th floor, Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University on 12 to 13 February, 2025. This workshop event was conducted for 2 days to encourage postgraduate students of Diponegoro University to enhance the ability in creating remarkable academic writing. This event was also attended by Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D., as a Dean of the postgraduate school of Diponegoro University, all participant.
Prof. Ir. Mochamad Agung Wibowo, M.M., M.Sc., Ph.D., as the Dean of the Graduate School of Diponegoro University has deliver speech and expressed the hope that through this workshop, all graduate students will understand how to work out a publication journal in a proper way.
The next part of this event is the salutation of Prof. Ferry Jie PhD, FCILT, FCES. In his speech, he conveyed that in composing scientific writings, postgraduate students must pay attention to ethics in writing paper. Writing paper is crucial and upholds the validity of the journal writings for those who want to be registered on the scientific journal website. Other than that, he emphasized the students to not give up, he states that “If you never try, you will never know”.
